Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication

"An education is incomplete without extra-curricular activities. I have learnt so many things. Co-ordinating an event, for example, is such a complex activity that takes careful planning to make sure everything runs smoothly. I don’t get that kind of knowledge from books. You need to be involved and Limkokwing has plenty of such opportunities."

The Cameraman

Alejandro ‘Migi’ De Belen

Our dear friend Migi hails from the Philippines and was present behind the scenes for all our shooting sessions. He is bonkers about music and he himself specialises particularly in electronic dance music.

The Director

Shoban J. Raveendran

BA (Hons) Digital Film & Television (pending) – London, UK (2009)
Diploma in Broadcast Communication – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2008)

Never knowing what he really wanted to do in life, Shoban had no idea that his early years behind the scenes involving sound mixing and camera work back home in Kuala Lumpur, would soon evolve into a passion for performing arts and film making.

In his high school years, he immersed himself in acting and appeared in various youth and Christmas stage productions. In college, he was involved in many big productions including fashion shows and a musical in which he acted in as well as designed the complete sound stage for the event. In early 2008, he experimented with small film projects, and took to playing roles in promotional commercials for youth events.

‘I really don’t know why I did it’, he says. ‘I guess being behind the camera for so long always gave me a desire to find out what it was like to be in front of the lense.’

Having satisfied that particular curiosity, in London, he devoted himself to script writing and recently began directing his very first short film alongside a team of talented young people from all over the world.
